"The client's core demand for IKE STEEL is to transform the large open space near the swimming pool into a livable 'outdoor house'." This is what the client wanted. His villa has an expansive courtyard, and the area near the swimming pool is spacious, but it is currently left idle as a simple drying area - the intense summer sun cannot be endured for long, and in rainy days, it is muddy and damp, which cannot meet the family's needs for rest or even temporary accommodation by the swimming pool. Therefore, IKE STEEL customized an 8-meter by 4-meter retractable luxury pavilion for him, equipped with an electric windproof curtain and folding glass doors. This transformed the open space near the swimming pool into a practical space that can replace a temporary house.
As an "outdoor house" adjacent to the swimming pool, the client has strict requirements for waterproofing, wind resistance, and space usability. This configuration perfectly meets the needs. The electric windproof curtain is paired with waterproof fabric. When changing clothes after swimming, it can be pulled up to isolate the damp water vapor from the poolside and block the cool breeze in the evening; when the folding glass door is closed, it forms a sealed space. The floor is paved with waterproof flooring, and after placing beddings and wardrobes, it can be fully used as a temporary guest room. In summer after swimming, opening the retractable canopy and the glass door, the pavilion instantly becomes a cool rest area. Looking up, you can see the swimming pool view; in rainy days, all protective facilities are closed, and one can read books or drink tea in the pavilion, completely unaffected by the outside weather.
Nowadays, this pavilion has become the "core living room" next to the swimming pool: when friends and relatives come for a vacation, it serves as an independent and comfortable temporary guest room. Just by opening the door, you can directly reach the swimming pool. During daily use, one side is equipped with changing benches and towel racks, turning it into a dedicated changing room for swimming, while the other side has a sofa and a small refrigerator, transforming into a leisure area. The client specifically mentioned that the concealed wiring design enabled him to easily install air conditioning and lighting. Even in summer, it can maintain coolness. After the lights are turned on at night, the pavilion and the swimming pool's lights complement each other, creating an exceptionally cozy atmosphere. He stated outright that this pavilion has completely "livened up" the vacant space next to the swimming pool. It is not only a practical "outdoor house" but also the most lively corner in the courtyard, achieving the maximum realization of the spatial value.
